This post goes out to Clare, who pointed out that I haven’t been here since, oh I don’t know, a month ago. Scary yes?

So anyway…HI CLARE! LoL I’ll write a long proper post soon enough but right now, let's enjoy our exam-worry-stress free weekend. Or you know what, maybe you’ll bump into me at Facebook (if I ever decide to join that is).

Be afraid Clare bwahaha. Yes I realize that sounded stalker-ish but you’re used to it right now…right?

Enjoy the weekend y’all =)

Questions people never think of:
While driving down the road, and looking for an address, do you turn the radio down?Well see the thing is...i dont drive haha
Pretend you are a really good cook, what meal would you make?An awesome 3 course meal that could rival any Jamie Oliver/Iron Chef/Martha Stewart...wait she cooks right?
What is your favorite piece of clothing in your closet?Right now my Beatles "Can't buy me love" shirt or my pink dress
Why?Because you CAN'T buy me love. Oh and the dress makes me feel girly (but I hardly wear it)
If you could quit your job right now, and be anything you wanted, what would it be?A professional photographer. I love the idea of taking that one definitive shot that can show a part of someone that maybe the world never sees. And if not people, I'd love to just travel around the world, visitng all the wonders...Oh or an astronaut lol
What do you think of when you look at the stars?Reach for them...make a wish...
When you add someone into your cell phone, do you use there real name, or there nickname?Nickname or a shortened version
If you use there real name, do you add there last name?Just the first initial
How much information do you ask for before you sleep with someone?I'd like to think I'll never fall for those one off flings
How long do you date someone before you sleep with them?A really long time?
If you could say ONE THING to the president, what would it be?"Hi" (What else can you say without launching into some form of rant/debate/discussion?)
If you could meet ANY president, dead or not, who would it beNelson Mandela
Why?He's an inspiration. He's intelligent, he fights for his cause and he's strong - so much to learn from.
If you could get rid of the holiday season, would you?Hell no
Why?I'd go insane lol
IF you could go to any state, which one would you go to and why?Queensland- beaches with white sands and crystal blue waters. Plus I want to snorkel in the Great Barrier Reefand possibly meet a dolphin or two. And Doree =)
Would you ever get a personalized license plate?I don't know, i think they're slightly tacky...
If yes, would would it say?VMF-088?
If you could go back to college, what would you major in?Well I'm IN college (uni really) but if i had a chance, I'd love to just study the arts a bit more - maybe do abit on Psychology and Social behavior. If not, astronomy (yeah the astronaut in me kicks in...) but not exactly practical lol. Maybe when I'm a millionare.
Before you go to sleep at night, what do you think of?The day...what I'm thankful for...
What is your favorite kind of weather?Sunny! It makes me happy =D
Do you find it a bit unnerving doctors call what they do practice?Good point but not really.
If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is he homeless or naked?Haha naked turtles...how wrong but sadly I reckon it's more naked than homeless
If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation? It's an whole episode of Criminal Intent - with the other personalities being the detective, the negotiator, the distressed wife, the shady mistress, the Mob and Borat lol

It's all new...

Yes I haven't blogged for a while (almost a month actually) so I decided to come back and just ramble. It's been a hectic last few weeks - particulalry the lead up to Christmas and even now in 2007 things seem to be unfurling. Not quite sure what to make of it, but we'll see how it all flows. As I mentioned before, I got a job recently and it's pretty dandy. It's just basically data entry in a small company and I'm working full time so it doesn't leave a lot of room for just free bumming. But it's good - I like to keep busy. And hey, it's all good for experience =)

Speaking of newness, it seems like I've gotten hooked into anime. Again. LoL it's an on-off relationship and it seems like this time it's definitely back on. So now, thanks to Khan, I'm addicted to Bleach and for the past 2 weeks I've been squeezing in how ever many episodes there are and I've even resorted to placing them on my ipod to bring to work just so I can watch it during breaks. Yes I am a loser.

Also went house-boating last Monday with my family. Nothing like cruising down the Hawkesbury, feeling the breeze in your hair and lying around in pure lazy bliss. Seriously, I've never been so relaxed. It's not to say it wasn't exciting - there was a moment when my sister, my cousin and I almost floated away in a dingy (we stupidly got into the boat without having any rowing experience) and hey, there's nothing more exhilirating than catching fish ahahaha. Yeah it was a good holiday. I certainly had heaps of fun.

Hmm not sure what else is actually new... Um, I dyed my hair. Haha that's so shallow but yeah, mum, Vienna and I decided to experiment with hair dye and I ended up getting my hair slightly tinted. So now in the sun, it's red (or by now, reddish brown). Yay.

Yeah that's basically it for now.

Till whenever I feel like dropping by again.

And so it was Christmas...

It’s a funny time actually. Usually I’d get caught up with the whole presents aspect and material gift giving but this year was different. This year, it was the first time that we weren’t all there and it was the first time that I ever really lost someone.

So things become a mix of happy and sad. You’re happy to be with the ones you love and you’re happy to celebrate the Season with everyone – even those far away. But deep down, your heart's really not into it when you know that someone important isn’t present and someone you thought would be around for a long time goes away.

But you can’t dwell on that too much. I know he’s in a better place now. And after all, when God closes one door, he opens another.

And despite the recent events, I’ve gained someone quite special. What’s a better Christmas gift than life?

Merry Christmas to my first and new god-daughter =)

Hope everyone had a good one.
